BAR THE TAILOR THE MOST CREATIVE HOTEL BAR IN AMSTERDAM

Every year the battle for Best hotel bar in Amsterdam is held. The Best Hotel Bar Awards 2020 are made possible by Belvedere vodka, Canadian Red cranberry juice, FavorFlav and Mastercard.

An independent jury of experts from the cocktail and bar industry has nominated hotel bars in the categories Best Hotel Bar, Best New Hotel Bar, Best Sustainable Hotel Bar, Best Classic Hotel Bar and Best Creative Hotel Bar. The nominated bars have been visited and judged by the jury members. Also, a public award has been awarded to the bar with the most online votes. The winners will be announced during Hotelnacht 2020, on Saturday 18 January.

Creativity is of huge importance at Bar The Tailor and its cocktail menu. In addition to the creativity that can be found in the ingredients and flavor combinations of the cocktails, the decor of our bar is also praised for its creative appearance. The use of different fabrics, materials and attributes from the tailor trade are key in our interior. All creative elements hint at the founder of Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky when he settled in Amsterdam, 150 years ago.

The opening of Hotelnacht Amsterdam 2020, of which the Best Hotel Bar Awards are part, also took place at Bar The Tailor this year. During Hotelnacht, the Amsterdam hotels are for locals. During a visit, they can enjoy entertainment and a friendly rate for an overnight stay. Hotelnacht has been a familiar name in Amsterdam for years to lower the threshold for local guests to visit the beautiful hotels of the capital city.
