JAMES CHAIB. THE BEST BARTENDER OF THE NETHERLANDS. WINNER OF WORLD CLASS COMPETITION

In 2019, Bar Manager James Chaib has been awarded for Dutch "Bartender of the Year 2019" during the Northern European final of the World Class Competition in Schiedam. The World Class Competition is known as the world's largest bartending competition, with more than 10,000 bartenders from 56 different countries participating annually. During the finals, 18 Bartenders from 6 different countries competed against each other. The creations of the participants were assessed on presentation, technique, creativity, taste & balance. The last two rounds of the race were mainly focused on durability and speed. During the final round, the finalists were assessed on creativity, elegance and speed. The finalists were given seven minutes to create six cocktails during this trial. One winner was chosen per country: James Chaib is following in the footsteps of Ben Lobos as the best bartender in the Netherlands.
